The objective is to perform a chemostratigraphic interpretation of exploratory well drilled in a basin or sector of it. This interpretation aims both to improve the stratigraphic correlation and to contribute to the paleonvironmental knowledge of the drilled formations with special interest in the possible hydrocarbon source rocks.
