The GEOANDEAN LOG Laboratory Trailer is fully equipped to allow the complete evaluation of hydrocarbon manifestations and lithological samples, providing a comfortable space and working environment for the personal assigned by the operating company.
For this purpose a sector has been reserved for tasks of Formation Evaluation, Preparation and Analysis of cutting, core and drilling-mud samples, another for recording and analysis of drilling data and evaluation of formation pressures at real time, and a work area for the Representative of the Operating Company on the location.
The instruments used are of modular design, facilitating their installation by means of quick connectors. In this way, the Lab Trailer may be simply expanded or resized to the real operational needs of the Operator Company related to the project under development. This is specially convenient when considering drilling wells in areas that require Abnormal Pressure Assessment. All electronic instruments are conveniently fixed to steel racks, making their operatioin safer and allowing their preservation during hauling.
The Mudlogging Lab Trailer is built using top quality components, specifically selected according to the international oil industry requirements, making it suitable for operations with high requirements such as HT-HP or offshore environments. It has double access, a main entrance door and an emergency door, located to allow a quick evacuation in emergencies. The main access has a double door system, with a pressure equalizing chamber to prevent loss of pressurization when the cabin operates in positive pressure. The back service, located at the rear of the equipment for easy maintenance and repair, is integrated into the cabin. It also has an external cage for storage of service gas: Calibration (C1, Chromatographic Mixture, H2S, CO2, Combustion Gas (H2).
It should be noted that although the laboratory unit uses hydrogen for its FID detectors, this is provided by two H2 generators. So relief cylinders are not necessary, which in any way can be stored for emergencies according to indication of the segurity personal of the operating company, since the cabin has facilities suitable for storing, connecting and regulating this alternative source. Security elemets requested in the industry, such as siren and beacon are mounted and connected fixedly to a retractable mast, suitable for moving the cabin.
Manufactured based on a maritime container and mounted on steel skids, specially designed for heavy working conditions. It also has appropriate supports for lifting by cranes. All of which ensurres sufficient rigidity and safety during loading, unloading and transport. It is inside conditioned with fireproof insulating and thermal materials, covered with acoustic panels, and high traffic floors, selected for their fire retardant and hygienic properties. Equiped with heaters and hot/cold A/C for extreme weather conditions. It has double voltage cutt-off system (Panic Bottom). The anti-explosive pressurization system, if necessary, can be moved up to 40 m off the cabin, it was specially designed for situations of high demand and mobility according to prevailing conditions on location.
